Clearly the design is not your typical apartment community. High Desert Village located in the luxury master-planned North Scottsdale community of DC Ranch. High Desert is an enclave of just 129 luxury residences including one, two and three bedroom apartments as well as the unique bunkhouse loft apartments. This low-density design, utilizes natural open spaces to make the outdoor environment an integral part of the daily living experience. The Village concept was introduced by the developer P.B. Bell Companies and was achieved by creating abundant open spaces, natural gathering places and the residents own Club House. Use of native building material such as stone was used to blend the architecture to the surrounding desert and mountains. One and two story buildings were created to compliment the fluid blend to the DC Ranch landscape. An auto-corral and attached garages eliminates typical large parking areas and minimizes the visual impact of automobiles. Nine floor plans have been designed to have unique features such as; art niches, Roman tubs, track lighting, window seats with built-in storage, arches, kitchen nooks, and built-in bookshelves. Natural light in all the living spaces was a very important design element. Towering ceilings and glass block accents were introduced to light up the rooms with natural sunlight. The over-sized tinted windows were placed to optimize views of the McDowell Mountains and the scenic surroundings. This design has incorporated all the conveniences and amenities of a luxury community that is not in your typical apartment complex.

Legacy Park is the residential element of a mixed-use one hundred acre master planned development that blends business, manufacturing, hotel and retail services.
